CREATIVE GOLD reopens after SMASH & GRAB EPIC FAIL
Hi everybody just to let you all know that Creative Gold suffered a Failed Smash & Grab robbery attack by a four man gang on scooters at 17.13 on Friday 21/12/2013 armed with a sledge hammer and a hatchet the inner defense screen resisted no less than 29 hammer blows and 16 axe blows with only some scuffing and indents .The robbers left empty handed from there efforts
The 45 second assault caught on CCTV video has now been uploaded to U Tube for world wide viewing as SMASH AND GRAB EPIC FAIL . I was working in the basement at the time and was completely unharmed . My biggest annoyance is that I have been obliged to wait four days for the the approved insurers glazier to replace the window at the busiest time of the year for a jeweller
Refit Proceeding
The two outside walls have now had the white paint stripped back to the original green and brown glazed brickwork to match in with next door number 85 both premises 83 & 85 were built together in 1904 as a matching set both premises feature very unique ornate wrought iron columns and arches and attract a lot of attention from conservationists . The old exterior CCTV camera has been replaced with the latest Dome pan tilt and zoom camera that has 360 degrees of vision that can be remotely monitored on a mobile phone via the internet . The shop window has had track lighting installed and the anti smash and grab screen has been replaced with a new one .
The refit will continue with the interior surfaces and woodwork painted white and new floor tiles.
Sealing the Dome Camera to ensure it is weatherproofed
Here you see me on my scaffold tower using a bathroom sealant to waterproof the joints on the dome camera housing This scaffold breaks down into 4 foot 3 inch sections so that it can carried in most hatchbacks . It is easy to assemble and is available for hire , a delivery and collection service is available
